These jumbo Shrimp appetizers are so easy and delicious and a favorite. I use one pound (16 ounces) deveined fresh shrimp with tails on (from my Seafood Market). 1/2 cup crushed almonds. Served with a cocktail sauce on the side.
On a plate add crushed almonds and coat each Jumbo Shrimp well, place on a rimmed non stick baking sheet pan and place into a 425 F hot oven. They do not take long to bake about 6 minutes. Once the almonds begin turning brown remove from oven. Serve with sauce and a side of fresh veggies. A perfect appetizer year round.
